It can happen that for various reasons when DDP is booting up, the so-called grub boot loader is not appearing at all.

Such situations are possible when OS related data has been moved, corrupted or even destroyed.
The following procedure might not solve every boot up related issues, but must be checked out before any further troubleshooting

You also need to plug a keyboard and a screen to DDP as the following manipulation cannot be done remotely.
First step is to enter the DDP BIOS setup utility. When DDP is shutdown, just press the power button and immediately start short pressing repeatedly the F2 key. Depending of the motherboard, the key to press can be different. (Commonly F2, F10 or delete key)

If you are not sure what key to press, just let DDP booting up until it shows you a message about the boot option keys.
It should be similar to the following:

As soon as the boot option message appears, you will generally be given a very short period of time for pressing the right key, do not hesitate to reboot DDP if you miss the timing. (3 seconds maximum)
The BIOS utility might not immediately show up after you press the corresponding key, it will take up to 2 minutes.

Once the setup utility appears, select the “Boot Options” tab by using the arrow keys of your keyboard.
Then select “Hard Disk Order” and press the enter key.

The following menu shall appear:

You have to make sure that the “Boot Option #1” field is set to “LUN=1”.
If not, edit the field by pressing enter, select the “LUN=1” option and press enter.

Finally, just press F10 key for saving the changes and reboot.
