Every DDPs come with a rescue partition that allows the user to boot on a proper and safe operating system.

This rescue partition can be used in scenarios where the user cannot make service connection due to a problem on the main partition. Provided that DDP is correctly connected to the internet, one will always be able to make service connection to recover the main partition.

You also need to plug a keyboard and a screen to DDP as the following manipulation cannot be done remotely.

When power button is pressed on DDP, a boot sequence is initiated and the user will be shown the following menu at some point (up to 2 minutes):

From there you have only a few seconds until DDP automatically choose the main partition.
Please use the arrow keys of your keyboard and choose the partition labeled “rescue”.
Press enter to boot from the selected partition.

DDP will boot up and bring the prompt to the user.
Just login as root and enter your root password.

Once logged in, enter the following command to make service connection:
connect-to-internet
