When a direct access from the DDP to the internet cannot be prepared, you can share one client machine internet connection as an alternative.
The way that client machine is connected to the internet doesn't matter as long as the connection speed is reasonably fast and that the port 22 is open for service connection.
So whatever your client uses ethernet, wifi or even tethering, you are able to share the internet connection from your Mac or PC by following the instructions below.
Note that in order to share your client machine internet, you must plug an ethernet cable from your Mac or PC to the DDP NIC2 port as explained previously in the service connection solution.
If you want to share the internet connection of your PC, please read these instructions.
If you want to share the internet connection of your Mac, please follow these instructions.
Although the instructions might slightly vary depending on your OSX or Windows version, the procedure is always similar.
