Overheating problems must be taken very seriously especially when happening on the RAID cards level.

Ignoring RAID card sound and notification alerts can lead to partial/complete loss of the data. More specifically, drives can stop being recognised by the RAID card and RAID sets can simply disappear, jeopardising the data. If this ever happens please directly contact us and do not try anything before hearing from us.

Sound alarms coming from the RAID card indicate a problem which must be handled or at least checked with high priority. The fact that the alarm stops by itself does not indicate that the problem has been resolved by itself, it generally means that there is an intermittent issue like fan which stops spinning or/and the RAID card starting to overheat.

Since as explained above such problems occur can lead to data loss, the first thing to do is to stop using the DDP volumes and disconnect all client machines. Then you must take the logs of each RAID card and submit them to our team. After that it is highly recommended to completely switch off the DDP and and wait for our team instructions.
