It might happen for some reason that the DDP raid cards start reporting events with a strange date/time format.

It that case it means that the RAID card is reporting timestamps rather than an accurate date/time, which gives you an idea about the events timelapse but is not very handy.

You can fix that issue and resynchronise the RAID card time by login into the DDP by ssh with the command below (replace the IP address by your DDP one):

ssh root@172.16.5.4

Enter the password which is root, and then enter the command below in order to run the Areca command line utility:

cli

From there you will have to select the RAID card controller which you want to resynchronise the date/time:

By default, the first controller is selected automatically.

If the DDP contains several raid controllers, you can select one of them by entering the following command: (where x represents the raid controller you need to access)

set curctrl=x

After you select the right controller, you need to enter the following command in order to synchronise it with the proper date/time:

sys synctime p=0
