In rare occasions on old Areca firmwares, it can happen that the date and time gets unsynced with the BIOS.
This can be fixed by accessing the RAID card via the CLI and entering the following command:
sys synctime p=0
The date and time displayed in the RAID card logs should then match the BIOS information.
It is also recommended to upgrade the RAID card firmware to the latest version to prevent this problem to occur again.
