If you own both a V3 and V4 DDP, there is a chance you want to copy data across them. Below are the requirements in order to achieve this.
- On Windows, AVFS 3.5.2 driver is able to deal with both versions.
- On Mac, a combination of iSCSI 1.2.19 and AVFS 2.4.13 driver is required and has the following limitations:
- Volume capacity beyond 128 TB won't be recognized.
- AVFS 2.4.13 might not work as expected on latest version of macOS.
- You can only copy from V3 to V4 and not the other way around.
- AVFS 2.5.1 is 64 bit so can never work with V3 which is 32 bit.
