What is sleep mode and why must it be disabled?

When sleep mode is enabled, your PC might close network connections which will disconnect DDP volumes in an improper manner.

To prevent this, sleep mode must be disabled.

Go to Windows control panel power options and click "Change when the computer sleeps":

Select "Never" for "Put the computer to sleep" option:
